Director's Message
St. Columba's offers an enriching curriculum in which each child is respected as an individual. Teaching methods, approaches and instruction are tailored to each child's unique learning needs. To meet this goal, the CLC maintains a low teacher/child ratio. In addition to forming a solid foundation for future academic achievement and creative expression, our comprehensive early childhood education program promotes social skills and healthy interpersonal relationship. These skills form the basis as they integrate into kindergarten and beyond.
Rebecca Mendoza-Martinez, Director
Mrs. Rebecca has over 20 years experience as an early childhood educator. She began her career at St. Columba's Children's Learning Center as a teacher in the Pre-K program, earning a well-deserved promotion to Director in 2013.
"Ms. Beca", as she is affectionately known to the students at St. Columba's, obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of La Verne in 2008. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Though she is definitely missed in the classroom, Mrs. Rebecca's extensive experience and infectious dedication to the school can be felt across the entire St. Columba's campus.
